The First Federal Price Is Right For Fighting Child Abuse

From: Lincoln County Coalition Against Child Abuse and Child Advocacy Center

It’s time to “Come on Down!” to the 11th Annual Price is Right for Fighting Child Abuse on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the James W. Warren Citizens Center. This event is sponsored by First Federal Bank and benefits the Lincoln County Coalition Against Child Abuse and Child Advocacy Center. This evening promises a fun-filled St. Patrick’s Day experience for the whole family.

This year is going to be extra exciting and fun as we hope the “Luck of the Irish” will bring you money and spectacular prizes. Barry Burleson will be returning to play the enthusiastic Rod Roddy, complete with flamboyant apparel, and Cecil Smith will be returning as the witty Drew Carey. We also have our special Price is Right “beauties” this year, including Stuart Boyles of Carolina Furniture Mart and a few other fun surprises.

The purchase of a ten dollar ticket will get you a chance to be called down to be “the next contestant on contestant row” and an opportunity to win some fabulous prizes donated by businesses and individuals, including: A fantastic golf cart, a Bosch Washer/ Dryer set, a vacation package to Myrtle Beach, a vacation package to Ocean Isle, A Weber Grill and grill gazebo, exquisite furniture from Carolina Furniture Mart, a family getaway  for 6 to Great Wolf Lodge, ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS in cash, and many, many other wonderful items.

In addition to the usual program, this year there will be a live auction between games. Among the items to be auctioned is a full orthodontic package from Austin Orthodontics, valued at $6500, gift baskets from local establishments, gift certificates to area businesses, an art table, and a homemade cake table. The children’s games will also return this year, and will take place before the start of the show.

As in past years, DJ Michael Branson of Boogie Nights DJ Services will add music and sound effects along with many new set surprises to make this a realistic Price is Right experience that you will not be able to forget!

Doors open at 5:00 PM. Pizza, hotdogs, sweets, and beverages will be available for purchase.

The Lincoln County Coalition Against Child Abuse and Child Advocacy Center provides Lincoln County with programs designed to protect children from abuse and to provide care for the smallest victims of abuse. At the Child Advocacy Center, where intervention services are facilitated, 182 of the over 1800 children that were reported as abused or neglected in Lincoln County in 2017 received services.

Without the support of a caring community, full of corporations and individuals like you who attend events such as The Price is Right, the LCCACA & CAC would cease to exist.

Tickets can be purchase at the door. For further information call Sherry Reinhardt at 704-736-1155 or visit our Facebook page by searching Lincoln County Child Advocacy Center.

Why Join the Lincolnton-Lincoln County Chamber?

"SEACORP Industry based in Lincolnton, has recently celebrated 25 years in business on August 1, 2023. As we reflect on the past 25 years, SEACORP would like to thank the Lincolnton-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce for their ongoing support. The Chamber provides networking opportunities for business, connects our local community with local and State Representatives, and provides educational programs for both members and the public. "We joined the Chamber prior to our opening in 2021 and have been so happy we did. They worked with us to have a ribbon cutting to highlight our grand opening, along with hosting several events with us since we've joined. We've been able to appeal to many new customers with these events that we may not have reached otherwise! It is a great way to involve yourself in the local business community with unlimited networking opportunities. "
