Although I started my career as a consultant for the IT world, my most rewarding career change was getting to be a home educator. When that journey came to an end, I thought long and hard about what would be my next chapter. Covid hit and I expanded my garden with exotic hot peppers since I loved spicy foods and making hot sauce. As folks would stop by to fix the hvac or cable, they would leave with hot sauce, lol. After amazing feedback, it was decided; I would start a hot sauce business. Since hot sauces are an acidified food, this new journey required registering with both NCDA and the FDA. The process was not an easy task to accomplish, but we persevered. Our hot sauces are handcrafted, flavor-forward, and velvety smooth because we use a Vitamix to blend all the nutritional goodies all together. Other than our CheerCola hot sauce, all of our hot sauces are all natural and no preservatives. The peppers are grown onsite or sourced from local growers. This is why we label ourselves as "seed to sauce"; We start growing from seed and do every component from cooking, bottling, and labeling. Our family is looking forward to making more connections in Lincoln County and helping our business community and our business to grow.
