FREE How to Navigate Lake Norman Class

Lake Norman Marina will host the How to Navigate Lake Norman class conducted by Captain Gus Gustafson on Wednesday, May 24, 6:30 to 8:00 PM. Whether an experienced boater or a novice, Captain Gus will provide plenty of laughs while teaching much valuable information benefiting Lake Norman boaters.

Topics Captain Gus will cover include are:

  • Understanding LKN's Channel Marker and Buoy System
  • How to Avoid Shallow Water
  • The Ten Most Dangerous Spots
  • Interpreting Lake Maps 

Lake Norman Marina and the Lake Norman Boat Club are providing complimentary snacks and refreshments. Attendees are invited to come 30 minutes early to meet other boating enthusiasts. 

There is no charge for the class, but RSVP is required. RSVP to either rsvp@lakenormanmarina.com or 704-483-5546 to reserve your seats.
